OFFICIAL OPERATIONAL POLICY · VERSION 2.5
Terms & Conditions
Comprehensive Terms of Service governing Commercial Drivers, Logistics Agents, and Shippers across the Shiv Sai Transport digital freight ecosystem.
Effective Date: October 19, 2026
1. Commercial Driver & Vehicle Owner Terms
- Eligibility: Drivers must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Commercial Driving Licence (DL) appropriate for the vehicle category (LCV, MCV, or HCV).
- Mandatory KYC: Drivers must upload verified copies of Commercial DL, Vehicle RC, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Bank Details, and signed TDS Declaration. Drivers cannot accept trips until approved by Admin.
- Overloading Prohibition: Operating beyond RTO-certified Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) or declared tonnage is strictly forbidden.
- Route Adherence: Drivers must strictly follow the itinerary: Pickup Location → Specified Intermediate Unloading Points (if any) → Final Drop Destination.
- Zero Extortion: Agreed booking freight represents the complete payment. Demanding unauthorized tips, bhatta, or en-route bribes is grounds for permanent blacklisting.
2. Shipper & Customer Terms
- Accurate Cargo Declaration: Customers must declare accurate material type and weight in tons. Misdeclaring cargo weight is prohibited.
- Multi-Stop Route Formulation: Customers may add intermediate delivery points prior to dispatch. Diverting trucks without prior booking changes incurs extra per-km fees.
- Prohibited Goods: Consignments must not contain contraband, unmanifested cash, explosives without PESO license, weapons, or narcotics.
- Statutory Invoices: Shippers must provide a valid GST Invoice and E-Way Bill prior to vehicle departure.
- Detention Window: Up to 3 hours free window for loading and unloading. Detention charges apply thereafter.
3. Logistics Agent & Dispatcher Terms
- Professional Integrity: Agents must provide transparent quotes and maintain fair dealing between shippers and drivers.
- POD Validation: Agents must inspect uploaded POD photos for recipient signature and stamp before approving final driver payment.
- Anti-Circumvention: Diverting platform customers or conducting off-platform cash transactions constitutes breach of contract.
